What are some fish that I can get that are sustainably caught?

    There is a program called Seafood Watch that produces Seafood Watch Cards that fit in you wallet and are a guide to which fish are sustainably caught. The lists are updated often so you will always be up to date on which are the best choices. Right now on the sustainable list are:

    Cod (pacific)

    Halibut (pacific)

    Sablefish/black cod (Alaska)

    Salmon (Wild Alaska)

    Shrimp (Pink, OR)

    Tuna/Albacore (US)

    These are the fish that are certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council. This list is for the western US and there are different lists for different regions so check out the link below for more info.
