Poor contraceptive methods, poor sexual education, high disease rate and rate of death amongst newborns. These are only some of the factors, but are the main contributing factors to the high birth rate in poorer countries.
Some of the factors that contribute to high birth rates are generally associated with low life expectancy, low living standards, low status of women, and low levels of education. Another factor is low use of contraceptives. Some people try to lower birthrates by educating women and providing family planning services. Another factor that helps to lower birth rate is urbanization.
