All kinds of things, mostly kitchen or storage ware. Utensils, “plastic” bags, trays, clamshell and tupperware style containers, bowls and plates, cups, and even paper. Here in Portland Oregon, I’ve seen corn starch polymer bags in some retail stores, and often in the produce section of the West Coast grocery chain Fred Meyers they carry biodegradable pre-made salad containers.
As chelseaschuyler said, mostly kitchen or storage ware. Bioplastics are made from biodegradable materials such as corn, sugar cane or potatoes. Many restaurants are using these products for take away meal containers, disposable cups, napkins, utensils, and plates.
