Ethanol is a highly efficient bio fuel that has been around for over 100 years. It actually powered the Model T! Ethanol can be found in most gasoline in the US today in some quantity and some Flexfuel vehicles can run on up to 85% Ethanol. Brazil has also been turning sugarcane into ethanol for years.
Biodiesel is a diesel like fuel that is derived from Palm oil. It is commonly found in Europe.
Many predict that grasses and saplings will be the future source of biodiesel.
Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) is a great fuel because it would have been thrown away. Restaurants can’t re-use their deep frying oil for health code reasons, so they are happy to give it away to anyone who wants it. People can travel across the country on french fry grease.
