Probably the most accessible eco-friendly paper would be paper that is 100% recycled from 100% post-consumer content. This means that it’s made 100% from paper that earlier consumers have put into the recycling cycle (thrown away in recycling bins, that is.) This company, Neenah Paper, uses 100% post-consumer recycled paper to make its paper. If you look for that when shopping around, you’re likely to find a company that suits your needs and is very eco-friendly. If you really want to make the leap, there’s the POOPOOPAPER company…which makes paper 100% from elephant dung. It is completely odorless, but only comes in thicker-weight paper products (so no copying paper.) It’s a little weird, but I think it’s a cool idea!
