There are a couple of sink/toilet combo units on the market outside of Japan, where they are much more popular than they are in the US. Mac US Trade mades a dual-flush toilet and sink combo, as does a company called Caroma. The paradigm for toilet/sink combos here is that part of the water that is required to flow into the toilet tank can be diverted (before it gets there, obviously!) for handwashing after using the toilet. But one company called Roca has introduced one that’s a little more ambitious, and evidently intended to replace the use of a bathroom sink for all purposes by integrating both sink and toilet into what they call a “graywater recycling system.”
