What are some common myths about diesel cars?

Some of the common myths include:

    • Dirty
    • Worse for the climate
    • Cheap to Maintain
    • Nosier
    • It’s easy to burn  Biodiesel
    • Diesel cars don’t perform well
    • You can’t find diesel at the pump
    • Diesel fuel is more expensive than gasoline

These myths are perpetuated mainly by lack of knowledge of new diesel performance.  EPA requirements have tightened and the dirty image of diesel pipes has all but disappeared due to the 2007-2010 regulations.  Diesel cars rely on advanced and intricate emission-scrubbing technologies to make them some of the least polluting and most efficient cars on the road.
