If you count former politicians as celebrities, two of the most high-profile have been former President George W. Bush and his predecessor, former President Bill Clinton. These two men had a very chilly relationship during their political lives but they have come together in a remarkable way to help out for Haiti. The Clinton/Bush Haiti Fund (http://www.clintonbushhaitifund.org/) began when current President Obama asked his predecessors to spearhead a fundraising and rebuilding effort in the days following the devastating Haiti quake. So far the fund has gotten more than 200,000 donations including some very high-profile ones from other well known figures: for example, actor Leonardo DiCaprio gave $1 million of his own money.

George Clooney was a also a big star for Haiti releif. He and others quickly organized a nationally broadcasted concert event with over a hundred famous artists and actors across the nation. Throughout the two hour event, pleas for Haiti were heard, music was played, and millions in donations were received. Donations continue to pour in from the effort through the purchase of the music played that evening.
