All the other animals, including insects, bacteria, birds, lizards, mammals, etc., and all the plants.
A biotic factor is the relationships and interactions between a living organism and its ecosystem. The jaguar, as top predator, is an important biotic factor to Amazonian Rainforest ecosystems. Their hunting patterns can affect all other wildlife in an ecosystem, including plant diversity levels. Research projects to further investigate the elusive jaguar lifestyle and the effects on ecology are in process.
