There are a number of fields of study that fall under the distinction of environmental studies. Some examples are atmospheric studies, which include meteorological studies, greenhouse gas research, atmospheric dispersion modeling of airborne contaminants, noise pollution, and even light pollution.
Ecology studies also fall under the broad designation of environmental studies. Ecologists study the interactions and dynamics of biological populations and their environments.
Some other studies include environmental chemistry, geoscience, and sustainability studies.
Also, coming from an Environmental Science program, you can learn about oceanography, populations, GIS (geospatial information systems), biogeochemistry….so many!
I came from a dual program so I also learned a great deal about Geology, which I highly recommend if you have time to do both!
