First of all, nuclear power does not contribute to greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere. That is the primary clean energy argument of nuclear power proponents. Although solar energy has the same benefits, nuclear power can satisfy today’s consumption needs whereas solar power does so at a much lower rate. Given this, nuclear power is more cost effective for how much energy it delivers. It is also reliable and dependable as it does not require certain times or angles of sunlight to work effectively as solar power does.
