According to the BC Assessment, in order for a parcel of land to be classified as a farm, all or part of the land must be used for primary agriculture production and a farmer’s dwelling or it must be used for the training and boarding of horses when operated in conjunction of horse rearing. Based on these requirements, all farm structures erected on the property will be classified as residential.
