Printable batteries are a type of nanobattery, or one that operates on a scale of less than 100×10^-9 meters. Nanobatteries are being developed in hopes to improve recharging time and “memory” of batteries. Printable batteries use nanotube ink on flexible material. The components are printed as different layers on the surface. The battery is less than a millimeter thick. The discharge of current printable batteries is too low for use, but this will be changed in the future.
