Moles are preyed upon by cats, weasels, and birds of prey. They are often killed by humans because they are considered garden pests.

Moles are usually preyed on by cats, birds of prey, and man (especially gardeners). Often, weasels enter moles’ runs and kill and consume them underground. Buzzards, ravens, and herons are examples of birds that prey on moles, and tawny owls go after these animals when it gets dark.
