Aldicarb, parathion, and methamidopho are the top most common insecticides used on cotton crops. These are some of the worst pesticides used in agriculture in general. One drop of Aldicarb can kill a person, yet this chemical has been reported in 16 states in the U.S. groundwater. Studies show that much of the pesticides ends up indirectly in our diary products (cow’s milk, since toxins are stored in mammary glands–fat tissues–of all mammals), entering the cow through its drinking water.
