Trans fats, also known as partially hydrogenated oils, are the worst fats. This is why there has been the nation-wide fight against trans fats in restaurants and packaged foods. Trans fats have been linked to heart disease, diabetes, obesity, cancer, infertility, liver disfunction, and even Alzheimer’s.
Trans fats are without question the worst type of fat for your health. While saturated and unsaturated fat are both necessary for life, trans fats indicate processed materials and GMO production, thereby endangering the lives of anyone eating the food. Hope I helped, and have a green day!
Cross-contamination of raw and ready-to-eat foods. Assume all raw meat is contaminated, but adequate cooking will destroy any viable bacteria.
