There are two main types of biofuel: bioethanol and biodiesel. Bioethanol is the most common form of biofuel, but there are also other bioalcohols like biopropanol, and biobutanol. Biobutanol could actually serve as a direct replacement for gasoline. There are many other biofuels as well. Wood, grass and charcoal are all solid biofuels.
