Rainforests lie near the equator and are categorized in the tropical wet climate group. Therefore, temperatures are generally between 93 Degrees Fahrenheit and 68 Degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity averages between 77 and 88 percent, while rainfall is usually more than 100 inches a year. Rainforests also produce 40 percent of the earth’s oxygen.
