Based off comparisons (see link attached), Splenda seems to be sweetener that is ‘healthier’, but is 600 times sweeter than regular sugar.
Agave syrup is a good sweetener because it is more potent than table sugar so you don’t have to use as much of it. Plus, agave syrup has a low glycemic index score meaning it does not cause a blood sugar spike like regular sugar. Another option is stevia. Stevia is an herb found in South America and is about 30times sweeter than sugar. The body does not metabolize stevia so there are no calories! http://www.stevia.com/
