The standard adopted by the U.S. Army is none other than the well-known LEED Green Building Rating System. According to the U.S. Army’s website, the LEED standard stresses “sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.” LEED is an internationally recognized standard which can be applied to a wide variety of buildings.
