A paste made out of oatmeal and water is a good gentle exfoliator. You can also use sea salt by itself (carefully) or in olive oil, or sugar in olive oil. A mixture of equal parts baking soda and water can also be used as an exfoliator.
Sand is a great natural exfoliator as well. Anything with a granular-type texture, usually mixed with a hydrating fluid (like olive or almond oil) will help slough off the dead skin cells on the surface. Just be careful the granules you choose aren’t too jagged — you don’t want to cut the skin.
