There is evidence that proves global warming was the effect of man’s release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
The second graph on the link below clearly shows that CO2 at Mauna Loa Observatory has increased steadily since the 1960s. Whether the rise is anthropogenic has to be somewhat hypothetical (impossible to clearly prove) but it does correlate with more energy use and more emissions in the same time period.
The website I have provided shows various graphs related to global warming. The first one shows how Anthropogenic CO2 emissions have led to a CO2 increase at Mauna Loa. The other graph shows how sea surface temperature has also increased over time.
