There are many easy and healthy foods you can grow indoors ranging from tropical fruit, lettuce, tomatoes, and bananas.
Some tips for gardening indoors:
-Cover the walls with reflective Mylar or white paint to allow light to reflect onto your plants so they can absorb more energy.
– Keep an oscillating fan turned on to create humidity so your plants won’t dry out.
Gardening indoors is a simple but very detailed process if you want to do it accurately. I could not sufficiently cover it here.

One healthy and easily cultivated food to grow indoors is the tomato. In fact, tomatoes are homegrown more than any other food in the U.S. Little more than a few hours of sunlight and some healthy soil will yield a harvest of juicy tomatoes that would put their supermarket brethren to shame. In addition to user-friendliness, tomatoes are also strong in Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and the cancer fighting carotene, lycopene.

Herbs are really easy to grow; as long as they receive plenty of sunshine and water, they should flourish inside. Leafy vegetables would also be a good start. They grow well indoors and are ready to eat within weeks of planting.
You can buy mushroom growing kits, which are supposed to be easy (but I haven’t used them) but I’m considering it now!
