I’ve read a lot lately about recycling Crocs. Please explain what they are made of and why they are unsafe for the planet.
A proprietary foam resin called Croslite, an ethylene vinyl acetate with other stuff.
They are not “unsafe for the planet” – at least no more unsafe than tens of thousands of other human-made chemicals and products.
Additionally Crocs has a recycle program, where you can drop your worn Crocs at one of their stores and they will clean them up, crush them and make 20% new recycled material Crocs and donate them to people around the world that have no shoes. Sounds iike a great cause.
