Composter chickens are chickens who aid in the composting process. They do this in a few ways. First of all, they provide manure which speeds up the process of composting when mixed in with the waste being composted. Secondly, they can help by rummaging around through the compost looking for worms and grubs which tills the waste and is necessary for successful composting. While there are many ways to compost, using chickens is a unique and pretty effective way to do it.
