It really depends on the cause of the head ache but there are many options. The juice of a lemon or and apple have both been seen to help as has the flower of henna, cinnamon, marjorum or rosemary.
There are natural ways to prevent headaches–like avoiding caffeine and alcohol and making sure you get enough vitamins and minerals in your diet such as iron.
For tension headaches, massaging the area or smelling some soothing aromatherapy is helpful as is applying a cold pack to the back of the neck.
