Biomimicry’s goal is to take a “design” or “idea” from nature, and attempt to mimic or emulate it as a means of addressing human problems (for example, studying a leaf as a way of trying to create a more efficient solar cell). In theory, biomimicry hopes to have many benefits in thinking of ways for a more sustainable future.
