Noise pollution has both negative health and environmental effects. Some negative health effects are stress, annoyance, hypertension, hearing loss, sleep disturbances, and tinnitus which can lead to depression, forgetfullness, and panic attacks. Noise pollution has negative effects on the environment by disturbing natural habitats. Like humans, noise pollution can have negative health effects on animals such as increased stress levels which can change the balance between predator and prey or change mating patterns.
