The average summer temperatures in Alaska depend on proximity to the coast. Temperatures range between 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit; the interior of the state is generally warmer, while coastal areas remain cooler.
In Anchorage it remains quite cool throughout the summer. The average highs for June-August are aso follows…
June: 62 degrees
July: 65 degrees
August: 64 degree
I had a friend who stayed near Kotzebue last summer, which is on the coast and above the Arctic Circle, and he said it was usually around 50ish, but it didn’t change much since the sun didn’t set.
