What is the annual quota for the amount of blufin tuna that we are allowed to catch?

Bluefins are noted to fisherman because of their fight and to chefs because of their delicacies and vitamins.  A migratory species, Bluefins are caught in the Pacific, Atlantic, Southern Oceans, and Mediterranean.  Bluefins mature slowly, being caught faster than they can grow and reproduce.  Because of overfishing, in some areas they are nearly extinct.  Several nations, including the US, are trying, with little success, to maintain tuna populations.  According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Bluefins should be avoided.
