If there is one singular animal that is affected most by humans it would be very hard to tell. Every animal on earth is affected by human impact on the environment since the ecosystem is a dependent network. Animals and plants depend of each other for energy, food, protection and everything else involved in living and passing on genes. As far as number go, in the United States there used to be billions of carrier pidgeons around the country. In some parts the sky would be darkened due to the amount of birds flying above. Now the carrier pidgeon is extinct due to overhunting and destruction of their environments. The dodo bird and many other animals have become extinct due to hunting, or enivronmental deterioration. In the end, since we all have a place in this planet every species is affected by the damage we are causing, even humans themselves.
