The highest-jumping animal in the world relative to body size is the froghopper, also known as the spittlebug. Froghoppers are about .2 inches long (6cm) and can jump 28 inches (70cm) in the air. To jump that high, the bugs exerts a force 400 times its body weight. In comparison, humans exert a force two or three times our body weight when we jump.
