The United States is a large exporter of soy and wheat. While the US is by far the world’s leading corn producer, about 80% of that is exported domestically. More than 350,000 American farms grow soybeans, and US-grown soy accounts for 50% of the world’s soy products. American grown wheat accounts for 25% of the world’s wheat export market. For grain sorghum, the United States controls 70-80% of world exports.
