I don’t honestly think there will be a significant direct environmental impact from just Kanye’s remarks. That said, one possibility is that lots of people who wouldn’t typically be on a computer at all will want to log on to watch the video. Then once they are online they will stay on for a bit (since rarely will someone track down a video, watch a video, then turn the computer off). So this could increase computer usage, which requires a lot of power to run. This then makes a large carbon footprint.
But as mentioned above, I don’t think this could be directly associated with Kanye.
Huge issues- maybe a flood? It also made Obama look bad because of some crazy twitter action. – I blame Kayne for damaging Obama’s approval rating.
