Yes, whale meat has much higher amounts of protein than other meats, containing around 24g of protein per 100g of meat. It contains a good balance of essential amino acids (the amino acids humans cannot produce) that determine the nutritional value of proteins.
Whale meat is a source of protein. In countries where consuming whale is still legal — Canada Iceland, Japan, Norway Russia and the state of Alaska — it has long been consumed for its protein. It should be noted, though, that there is debate about the overall effects of whale meat on humans due to pollutants found in the ocean.
