Yes. In history, there have been certain cultures where birds of prey have been trained to assist in hunting. It is sometimes referred to as falconry. I once saw a short documentary on TV about this. I’m not sure what species of bird was used, but the hunters sent it out and it was amazingly able to take down a small deer.
