Is wearing makeup worse for teenagers than adults?

In some ways it is.  Teenage skin is more prone to acne and many products that teenagers use for make up (typically cheaper brands than adult women use) may aggravate a pre-existing problem.  Also, much of the make up that is out there is bad for anyone’s skin period, so holding off to use it until you are an adult means that there is less time for damage to be done.

Teenagers are going through a lot of hormonal changes and therefore, it’s not a great idea that they clog their already-changing skin with makeup. If you are going to wear makeup as a teenager (or buy makeup for your teenager), try out organic makeup. It won’t clog their skin with man made chemicals!
