We are in Arizona how offten should we water our 4 year old orange trees.They had small green balls but soon fell off.We have been told to water them everyday and we have been told to water them once a week . Help Thanks

Hot summers, Fall 60 to 70 degrees, winter 40-60, spring 60-80. Green fruit won’t stay on tree to mature.

    Perhaps you aren’t watering it properly. Basin or flood watering are ideal for optimal root growth and citrus health (see first link below). Often, though, sweet orange trees don’t grow well in Arizona soil, but there are ways to get around this using a rootstock (also the first link).

    The second link below provides a citrus watering schedule, and tells you how to water them. Citrus trees require 30 minutes to an hour of constant flooding at every watering.
