Is washing the fruits and vegetables in soap and water enough to get rid of the pesticides?

    It’s usually enough, but you might want to switch from soap to lemon juice or vinegar, since soap wasn’t designed to be edible.

    Here is a very interesting article on the ‘Dirty Dozen’, fruits and vegetables with the highest pesticide residue. Veggies like celery, fruits like peaches, and berries like blueberries that have no protective skin and wick up pesticides.
