Was walking out on the Copenhagen negotiations the best/most effective way for small countries to try to have their voices heard?

No, walking out is childish and defeats the purpose of summits such as the Copenhagen Summit. The best way to have their voices heard was to propose their idea of a fair, sustainable plan for developed and undeveloped countries to move forward. Walking out is the most effective way for these smaller countries to not have their voices heard.
