Was more energy used building the golden gate bridge or the Hoover dam?

Because of its sheer size and width at the bottom, I would have to say that the Hoover Dam took more energy. The Hoover Dam took nearly 5 years to build and was the largest concrete structure of its time. The Golden Gate Bridge was completed in 1937 and was once the world’s longest suspension bridge. Both structures took up lots of manpower and time, but the Hoover Dam definitely took more time and materials.
