Is the venom in a scorpion similar to the venom in Spiders?

Both animals are arachnids and both scorpions and venomous spiders possess a mixture of neurotoxins and other substances that affect human beings.

Scorpions have stingers and can control the amount of venom that they release, while spiders spread venom through fangs.

The degree of harm a spider or scorpion venom may cause depends on the animal’s species, age and sex and also on its bite-victim’s age and health.
