Is the use of Jatropha Biofuels hampered by it’s toxicity?

    Yes, the use of Jatropha Biofuels has been hampered by its toxicity. Jatropha does not really have other highly marketable uses aside from being a form of biodiesel. Since it can poison soil, and because it could contain a neurotoxin that can hurt people, it just doesn’t seem worth it to use Jatropha as a form of fuel. There are safer alternatives for biodiesel.
