Fourth, using sea salt reduces your overall salt intake because it has a stronger flavor, and thus you don’t have to use as much.
Though people have made these claims, they are not necessarily true. A nutritionist at Mayo Clinic doesn’t believe sea salt is any healthier than table salt. She says both salts have nearly the same chemical makeup and almost the same nutritional value.
