In terms of nutrition, sea salt is no different from table salt. Although sea salt is often marketed as a healthier and more natural alternative to traditional table salt, sea salt only differs from table salt in taste and texture and the type of processing it undergoes. Table salt is mined from salt deposits in the earth and usually undergoes more intense processing in order to remove impurities and other undesired minerals. However, given the fact that we should only be consuming small quantities of salt anyway, there is no significant nutritional difference between table and sea salt.
