The top crops being used to make Biofuel are:
    1. Sugar Cane 2. Corn

There are companies now perfecting the process of using Regular Pond Scum to make actual oil to be refined into gasoline, deisal,& other fuels that will be able to replace actual oil for vehicals still using gas. The process is cleaner, faster, cheaper to make than Biofuels used today yet the carbon dioxide from the gas is the same. It is very air polluting to make biofuels like ethanol so either way there are still dangerous air pollution. There are many more web sites with information on this subject.
