How many grapevines are normally planted per acre?
The spacing of grapevines is very important in order to maximize your grape yield. If you plant them too close together, they will compete for resources and grow weak. Plant them too far apart, and you’re not at your max. According to one source, 600-800 grapevines are normally planted per acre of land. That’s about 8 to 9 ft between rows and 6 to 8 ft between vines.
