Endangered elephants are poached more, but the second-most poached species is believed to be the Sumatran tiger. With an estimated population of 400-500, the Sumatran tiger is under threat of extinction. Tigers are poached for their body parts, which are used in traditional Chinese medicine, while skins are also highly prized.
Tiger poaching is a problem in many countries but the African Rhino is one of the most poached animals, along with grey whales, elephants and sharks.
