No, probably not. India has a great number of environmental issues that are much more serious than tiger conservation (in my opinion). Water quality is a huge problem. A large portion of the population still doesn’t have access to clean drinking water. Water contamination from manufacturing industries and chemical runoff generated by pharmaceutical companies has the potential to threaten the lives of animals and humans alike. Many other forms of environmental degradation are prevalent as well, including deforestation, increasing pollution, rising greenhouse emissions, etc.
