Three ways in which the forests and vegetation of the Pacific Islands have been degraded come from overgrazing, deforestation, and agriculture. In terms of agriculture, excessive burning of land has created poor soil. The harm of these three issues has been augmented due to the increase in population. More people means more exploitation of resources.
